Current Bible Study.

We are currently studying some of the core themes found in the wisdom literature of the Bible, as we consider 'Developing a heart for God.'

Wednesdays at 7.30pm (see poster)

If you are interested in digging deeper into God's word, then this is for you. If you have questions about your faith, or about what we believe, then this is for you. If you have never been to Bible Study before, well this is for you. If you have been to many Bible Studies, then this is for you. It is open to all, and all ages. It will be informal, informative and encouraging.

Heritage Psalms & Hymns Service

August 2025

In August 2025 as part of National Heritage Week we explored the rich history of Presbyterianism in Co Longford. Corboy Presbyterian Church celebrated 350 years with a heritage service with traditional Presbyterian worship, singing Psalms and traditional hymns, reading psalms, and exploring and explaining Presbyterian worship and practices. The was also a lecture titled ‘A History of Presbyterians in Co Longford.’

Saturday 21st June

We had a great time of fellowship, fun and food as we are joined by those from our sister church in Mullingar and other friends and visitors.

The weather was great, the food was great, the craic was great. We even had a treasure hunt around the church grounds and discovered some of its 350 year old history.

Songs of Praise Service

Our Annual Songs of Praise Service was on

Sunday 4th May at 3.00pm

We enjoyed a full churches many joined in worship and fellowship to praise God with some of your favourite hymns. We were led in praise by 'Spirit of Praise' a praise band from Newtownards, Co. Down, and Amy & faith Baxter sang.

Rev. Wallace Moore (the new minister in Corboy) shared from God's word on the theme of 'Praise.'

An offering of €1,000 was collected in support of the Longford Branch of Alzheimer's Society of Ireland

Sunday Services

Over the summer we will be studying portions from Psalm 119, as well as welcoming visiting speakers on other weeks.

Our Sunday services take place at 10am. All welcome.

Ladies' Fellowship

Meet new friends at our Women’s Christian Fellowship. They meet on an ad-hoc basis to study God's Word, have fellowship and a cup of tea.

Walking with Christ each day ...

Bible Reading & Study is something we encourage you to do, even if you don't feel ready to join us at our Bible Discussion groups. An "App" that has been very useful in helping people know who Jesus Christ is, understand themselves and the world better is found here (Crazy Love Ministries).

The App makes use of hand-illustrated Bible project videos that explain difficult concepts and themes "better than seminary" alongside Scripture text. Also, the thematic reading plan constantly highlights the bigger picture so you can always see the big picture in your Bible reading. It all points to Jesus.
